Piano transport between Baden bei Wien and Rust links two World Heritage towns: the spa town of Baden, part of the "Great Spa Towns of Europe" since 2021, and the free city of Rust on the western shore of Lake Neusiedl, whose old town belongs to the Fertő–Neusiedler See World Heritage landscape. In Baden we collect pianos from the Biedermeier houses of the town centre, from villas around the Kurpark or from flats in Weikersdorf and Leesdorf; in Rust we deliver to the burghers' houses of the old town with their inner courtyards as well as to homes on the edge of town. The roughly 49-kilometre route runs through the southern Vienna basin, across the Leitha into Burgenland and on to Rust. The route itself is short and well built; the planning happens at the two ends. If the flat in Baden is on an upper floor of a Biedermeier or Gründerzeit house without a lift, the stair-climbing dolly takes the instrument down the stairs; if the stairwell is too narrow, we look at a crane. In Rust it is the old town: the burghers' houses are reached through gateways and courtyards, and the lanes leave little room to park. A photo of the entrance with your request lets us tell you in advance how the instrument will get into the house. On price: Baden is about 33 and Rust about 68 kilometres from Vienna; these approach legs count together with the 49 kilometres between the two towns.
